What do you girls think of this gym? Is it a good place to go workout...
And is the price of $300 up front (no registration fee if pay at once) for a 2 year membership a good deal?

i used to belong to lucille roberts. i think that price is a great deal. the gym i go to is 50 a month and i dont even go lol

i liked that the gym was all women because it made me more comfortable. there are co-ed gyms where alot of the people are there to pick up people and i dont like that. i'm there to work out not to flirt.
i used to go to the one in massapequa on sunrise hwy and i felt their machines were a little outdated but i also did enjoy the classes they offered.

i had moved and the lucille roberts i transfered to was down in a basement and i hated it so thats why i had canceled my membership

I used to have a membership there and I really loved the classes. they have a nice variety. I don't know about the one by you, but the one by my house is kind of small so during 'rush hour' a lot of the machines got taken up quick and they had sign in sheets which used to annoy me a little but overall, it's a great gym and the price sounds good.

yes the two i went to also had sign in sheets for the treadmills and elipticals because they only had a few so you were limited to the amount of minutes you could use them

lol make sure that their mistake doesnt end up hurting ur credit!

i used to go to lucille in brooklyn. i liked the classes and that it was all women. it was pretty affordable (little cheaper than bally's).

but i quit because their hours didnt work for me. they were only open from like 9am-2pm on weekends! and it did get a little crowded at rush hour.

I used to go there and liked it, but I don't like their summer hours-they change the weekends to only being open until 12-which i didn't like so i cancelled

I hated that gym. Yeah it was cheap but they didn't have alot of equipment and FH and I couldn't work out together. I go to a way $$$ gym now but I love it.

Is the $300 a reg. fee and then you have to pay monthly? If its $300 for 2 years w/o paying monthly thats a great price.

If you're looking for a gym, I would reccommend synergy. They have a bunch in diff. towns on L.I. the price is pretty good and they're open 24 hours.

i belong to lucille roberts. i paid up front & went religiously 4 times a week for the first 5 months that i had it. then the summer came & i started working two jobs & didn't have the time. now that i work in the city i just don't have the time to go. i noticed that it depends on which location u go to. i have a gold card so i can go to anyone in the tri-state are. i have been to a bunch. some have much better equipment then others. i only go once in a while now.
