i know most of you are on WW and that you have to eat 'x' amount of points per day... or some are on their own diets, where you eat 3 meals a day + 3 snacks, etc.
but do you ever have those days when you're not hungry... at all... do you force yourself to eat?
I was going to do WW with my mother, but we figured she'd just calculate my points and i can weigh in at work (i work for a scale company)... but according to the calculations.. i was under the lowest amount of points... so I'd have to eat more, and honestly, when you get to the lowest amount, how do you lose weight? so.. I just did my own diet... where I actually eat yogurt for breakfast, a smart ones (or sometimes banquet) lunch. (sometimes i'll order out) and then a decent dinner... I used to eat dinner and that was it.
I was doing good with this 'eating more, losing more' thing... but for the past few days i just don't want to eat.. when I was younger and I was 'forced' to eat i would get sick and ... yea. it wasn't fun.
so do any of you ever just NOT eat for like a day?
I had yogurt for breakfast and I had my mini-bag of doritos (snack).. but I'm just not hungry enough to have lunch.

Re: nwr- lunch (ww/diet) question..
Unfortunately, I'm never not hungry. I constantly snack all day on low pt snacks. I'm only allowed 19pts/day, so I'm very stingy w my pts. I am constantly forcing water down, 6+ cups daily.
Not eating isn't good. It messes w ur metabolism. So when u do eat, u store it instead of burning it, in anticipation of 'starvation'-bad word lol.
I suggest having some dry cereal or fruit or veg if ur not hungry.
Overall, I love ww! I'm having an off day, but have been doing really good for weeks and weeks.

Yeah - that's why I follow the WW Core plan and not the Points plan. Core isn't current, but it's worked for me for 2+ years now.
I'd have ravenous days, regular days, and not-hungry days...Points just didn't work for me in regard to that. Core works WONDERFULLY for me.
Maybe you're not feeling hungry since the weather is getting warmer? I always find that I eat less in the summer.

it's not good to not eat ... i've heard it described that your body needing food is like a car needing gas ... without gas, the car can't do anything ... without food, your body can't have energy to burn fat
you should try to eat something today ... but if you're not hungry now, then just wait it out (or eat something small)
good luck

thanks kris, I'll look into that.
no, I have stomach issues, so I tend to get full off of nothing, if i'm 'backed up'... I'm just going to have to force myself to eat...
pray for me that i don't throw up!

Megan - look into that. I used to have BAAAAAAAAD tummy issues and I swear to you, I have not had any problems since I started Core (not counting when I eat shytty food or booze it up too much, which is my own fault).
It focuses on whole grains, fruits and veggies, non-fat dairy (I sub in low-fat dairy because most non-fat dairy is gross to me), lean protein. Basically, how we're SUPPOSED to eat.
Give it a try, it might help your stomach a lot. And drink lots of water...it helps move things along if you know what i mean.

Spices are fine! Sugar needs to be counted though. Like, if you put sugar in your tea/coffee, you need to count the points for it. When you're on Core, you still get those 35 weekly points to use on anything you want. I divvy them up into 7 points a day, plus since I'm maintaining I also get an extra 9 points a day (which I don't usually dip much into).
