I don't use mac, but I have a trial in the mall this weekend. I wanted to get my FSIL some makeup for her birthday but I need some ideas. Are there any lipglosses/eyeshadows, etc... that are really good, and pretty standard that I could get for her?
She as dark brown hair, brown eyes...very pretty, natural looking.

Honestly, I'd get her a Gift Certificate b/c everyone has different complexions and styles/tastes.

Gift Cert and if you want to add something small, Clear Lip Glass, the most AMAZING lip gloss ever and she can use it over any color lipstick she has

I LOVE their Spice lipliner. It goes with almost any color lipstick!

yeah a gift card and something very general like a light gloss with it maybe to be more personal
that way, she can go and consult with an artist so that they can tell her what is best for her.

With her coloring - you HAVE to get her the 'Oh Baby' lipglass - its my absolute, number one favorite - it goes with everything, its very sexy on everyone, and she will love it!!!!

I used to use MAC...IMO, they are not as natural looking as say Bobbi Brown. They are more for color. I would go for the GC
