NWR: Macbook PRO!

My FH got me the new macbook pro as an early graduation present, and I LOOOVEE it!!!

i have to really learn how to get used to a mac though...he signed me up for one to one classes (thats where they teach you to how to become a pro at using a mac)

does anyone else have one? any tips???

I'm obsessed with my mac... this is my 2nd one, and FH has all mac equipment. Stricly an apple household, lol.

The only thing I hate is compatibilty issues sometimes, up here no one has a mac so I have issues getting on our computer network.

But back in normal life, everythign has always been great! Congrats and have fun with it.

Yay congrats and enjoy! Plus Applecare is amazing, we got extended warrantees on both of our Macbooks and they expired long ago, however, they still fix everything for us if we need for free!

ETA: We have a Time Capsule, we use it as an external hard drive, as a modem, it's great! I would definitely recommend getting one!

I have made a photobook, a memory one for my dad, and I have like 5 others that I made but never got printed. I love messing around with my comp, and you can make Facebook albums in your iphoto and just upload them ot the site, its great.

also, this is a silly question, but do you guys have a regular case? or an iskin?

i looked up online that you can have an iskin made with your own logo etc.....but does it really protect the computer?

and do any of you guys have a keyboard cover? LOL

I love LOVE my MAC!

I also have a MacBook Pro. Its great to bring along anywhere and fast.

Unfortunately I use lots of Microsoft programs such as excel and word for work so when I use Numbers and Pages on the MAC .. I tend to be slower...I am hoping Santa brings me the Microsoft MAC version this year.

I have made about 5 iphoto books. They are easy to make, just need time if you have OCD and need everything perfect like me.

Also if you feel your having problems using it, Apple site is very helpful and so are the phone reps.
