NWR: MAJOR WORK VENT
I was using choice words in the faculty room to describe how stressed I am now. . .
Our NYSSMA solo festival is tomorrow and Thursday. . .and I love, just LOVE, how 1. kids don't give their parents information and 2. how I'm expected to be a miracle worker when kids don't take responsibilities seriously.
I'm getting phone calls left and right from parents about how they 'didn't know' about something, whether when NYSSMA is or what their child needs to participate. Umm, didn't I spend an entire week with every free period I had back in DECEMBER preparing this information for you, and you're asking me THE DAY BEFORE YOUR CHILD PERFORMS?
And I love how kids wait until THE DAY BEFORE to come and ask me for help. One girl asked me LAST WEEK what she had to perform. Umm. . .I GAVE IT OUT IN JANUARY, SO WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU?!?!? I also gave out a DETAILED SCHEDULE and HIGHLIGHTED when you were supposed to come for help. . .so I don't know what else to say to you when YOU DON'T READ.
And with all of this, I can't think about sending out my invites which is what I should be doing. UGH.
