NWR-make up question

Just wondering what everyones make up routine is?

I'm trying to revamp my look-got some new make up & plan to go shopping this weekend (yay!)

I was using a primer; MAC concealer and MAC studio Tech. (finished w/powder press to set make up). I have some eye shadow from one of those Macy's gift sets and would use black eye liner.

I went to MAC last week friday and switched things up. I had a great artist who recommended less products that do more. I have pretty clear skin; but i have some blemishes on the side of my face that i like to cover w/concealer. So i was using concealer (doing it wrong by applying BEFORE foundation); Studio TEch foundation & then the powder.

I switched to a mineral full coverage foundation and a minearl powder to finish. No longer using the concealer cause i didn't really need it. (at least not daily; i will keep for those days that i need it). I bought new eye shadow and will go to Duane Reade during lunch today for some Mascara. I've never work Mascara before but everyone keeps telling me it's a must have.

Just wondering what everyone here uses. I was trying to go for that flawless look; but not too cakey.

I use almost ALLLLL drugstore products.

Except for when I use bare minerals as my foundation.

Sometimes I use the Almay foundation that matches your skin tone.. so it comes in light, med and dark and somehow, it belnds with your skin no matter what specific color it is. It actually come sout of the tube white. (It's liquid) and it's great coverage. Then I use the bare minerals mineral veil over it. I set my foundation with a finisihng spray from Sephora

Depending on my moood, I'll use CG blush or the bronzer that came with the bare minerals kit.

Then I use cover girl eyeshadows usually. I have a couple of different color palettes depending on the day

I use cheap, NYC pencil liner in a dark brown

And I use mascara, right now I'm using Almay but I'm not loving it so I need to find a new one. I've tried a few of the CG ones and I don't really like them either.

I don't usually go with concealer, or brow pencil,

OOOH, I forgot lips! The Cover girl lip stain is AWEOME. I made htis product up in my head 10 years ago, soimething that wasn't glossy that would just add a little color without being waxy... and voila, they finally made it! I like the mauve.

PS, I don't do all this on a day to day, this is all special occassion for me. For work and school, I just do my eyes really.

I use all drugstore products for the most part and usually always the same colors (except if it's a special occasion, then I may experiment a little).

Cover girl concealer and powder
Maybelline light gold eyeshadow, black or brown eyeliner, and black mascara
Bare minerals bronzer (I bought the whole kit but I didn't like how it felt on me because I don't normally wear foundation – but I LOVE the bronzer)
Palmer’s cocoa butter chap stick (AMAZING!!!)

I use drugstore and I find that the most important thing is to moisturize your face. I used Aveeno like crazy and my skin is pretty flawless and it really helps your makeup last longer.

I use an all over concealer with SPF since I'm so fair and then seal it with a light powder and some bronzer, again b/c im so fair.

I just never bought from the D.S. b/c i never know what shade and hate having to return and try until i find the right ones.

I'm totalling going to get some eye liner & mascara from duane reade during lunch!

I love Sephora..I try to go there for all my makeup needs..They have stuff that lasts longer/looks better than the Duane Reade/CVS brands,

I am a makeup fanatic...

Here is my Routine,

Moisturizer- Depending on the weather i use different ones

Foundation- Sue Devitt- Its a very minimal Coverage, as i really don't have much to cover up,

Concealer- Mac

Powder- Mac

Blush/Bronzer- Is from Sephora- Benefit

Eyeliner- mac

Mascara-Mac

(i dont wear eyeshadows during the day, but on the weekends i do, and i own like every mac color)

It sounds like alot, but its not. I think i have perfected it, that it actually looks good. Let me see if i can find a daily pic of myself.
