NWR: mechanic

does anyone know a good mechanic...and by good I mean not only do they do good work but they are honest???
I had a bad experience at Ford so I did not get all of the service done. I will need new breaks and rotors in the next few months and think i can get it cheaper then through Ford.

I go to a place down the block from my house. my mohs father used to own it, then he sold it and moved to another location.
I've never gotten my brakes done there, FH just did them for me last week. but they've done other service on my truck.

the guys are REALLY nice.

they're located at 64 bayshore road, west islip
I don't have a phone number.

Depending on where you are I go to Step-Up Auto in Valley Stream, right on Rockway - the owner's name is Guric. They are often busy, but he's a good guy, NOT a crook like at so many other places.
