Do any of you ladies recommend a good meditation center or yoga studio (not hot yoga) to clear the mind? I'm needing some centering lately and haven't been able to really locate any meditation centers.. any input would help, thanks!

Re: NWR: Meditation/Yoga
My office provides us with Transcendental Meditation training. (TM). It is meditation you can do any time, anywhere, daily and is supposed to be excellent. I haven't yet had my training - I go in September. The book is Transcendence by Norman Rosenthal.

haha! I work at a small private equity firm in Manhattan as an executive assistant ... this is a new thing they are trying. they want us to all be trained and use it in our daily lives. i am excited but nervous because i find it VERY hard to relax fully, and this requires you to empty your mind. it gives me anxiety to even think about!!
