So...FH and I want to eventually buy in this area but thought we'd rent for our first year to 'scope' it out..lol We want to move out closer to our wedding date as to not pressure our funds.... Are there any apartment complexes in this area for rent or will it only be home rentals for us? ANy infor would be great? We would definitely need something with 2 bedrooms. Thanks ladies!
I grew up in merrick- live in bellmore now and FH and I just bought a house in n. merrick. It is a great area! I do not know of any complexes in Merrick. There are a few in Bellmore. One on Jerusalem in N. Bellmore- not sure if they have 2 bedrooms. Have you thought of renting part of a house?
FH grew up in S. Merrick. It's a really nice area but very expensive. I know the taxes are high because his sister is looking to buy there and she can't believe it. It's a great town with really good schools.
We bought a house in Wantagh right across the Bellmore border and we love it!! There;s many affordable houses out right now..
we just moved from s bellmore- taxes got to much for us. but it is very nice there schools are A1
I lived in Bellmore/N. Bellmore for 4 years. It is a great area. I don't know of any complexes to rent but look in your local pennysaver. You can probably find a really nice 2 bedroom.
DH and I are looking to buy a home in this area too....I grew up in Bellmore and he grew up in Merrick and we love the area. I can't really think of any apartment complexes though that aren't senior citizen housing...most apartments I know of are just attached to homes, not in a complex in this area.
I grew up in Wantagh went to Bellmore schools - they are some apartment complexes - but sometimes you can get awesome house/apartments (easy to 2 bedrooms)
