Can I use a MicroDermabrasion system (like Neutrogena, Youthful Essence, Oil of Olay) in lieu of facials? I want pretty glowing skin for the big day but I don't want to spend a lot.
Any thoughts?

Re: NWR: MicroDermabrasion
at Target in Commack (the one by Price Club) I saw these at home kits on clearance. I didn't look at the price though, sorry.
I don't know how well they work, but clearance! I get dermabrasions (with the machine) here at work, and I love it.

Re: NWR: MicroDermabrasion
I use the Microdermabrasion Kit that Philosophy has and it works pretty well!! They sell it in Sephora. I think I paid about $45, but well worth it!!

You should get a facial every 3-4 months so that your pores can be thoroughly cleaned out...and if you use the Microdebrasion on top of it, your face will look beautiful! HTH!

Re: NWR: MicroDermabrasion
Thanks for bumping this gals!
I just scheduled a facial at Mario Badescu next week. I also use Proactiv so I am hoping the combination of the two will make me glow on the big day.
As I understand it, microdermabrasion uses tiny particles to exfoliate your skin. The proactiv solution is a great exfoliant so I don't think I need to do both if I am also get facials.
