I don't but FH does. Dark light and very cool room usually helps

yes I get them all the time, esp when the season or weather changes dramatically... I have been getting them since I was like in eight grade so I pretty much know the signs of when one is coming ... as soon as I feel one coming I take Excedrin Migraine and that usually kills it. but if I wait to long, there is nothing I can take that will help, just sleep in a black dark room.

i get them just about every day during may/june... and then here n there during the rest of the year...its really horrible... after getting some unwanted side effects from the presciption stuff, i switched to excedrine migarine and its like my life saver! i wont go anywhere without it!

I also depend on Excedrine Migraine.... and if that doesn't work I have my prescription pills but I hate taking them.....

unfortunately - especially during the BAD time of the month... usually i pop some excedrin and if it gets unbearable i need my moist heat pack... put that over my eyes, shut off the tv and fall asleep... most of the time i'll wake up feeling better

I get out of flourescent lighting, and take some execerin migraine (that stuff is great!). I try to drink a glass of water too just in case it is dehydration. if it doesn't go away i try to sleep it off.

Unfortunately I get them too and no over the counter aspirin works. I take Frova and that seems to help me. ALso when I have one I just need to lay down and rest in a cool room with no noise and light.

I USED TO SUFFER FROM MIGRANES ALL THE TIME. I GOT A PRESCRIPTION FOR TOPOMAX, WHICH HELPED ALOT. I STOPPED TAKING THEM THOUGH RECENTLY AND I ONLY GET THEM ONCE & A WHILE. I FOUND THAT CAFFINE HELPS ALOT.

I get severe migraines. I actually take preventive medication everyday. Try Excedrin migraine it is the best over the counter medication I have found. Also try laying down in the dark. I put a heating pad on my head it works for me.

I get them and if you are on the pill I suggest getting off it because the changes in estrogen can cause them (you can try the mini-pill my dr put me on it and it didn't cause migraines)

If you have a tiem when you are getting them all the time go to the Dr. they will give you a shot to get your body out of the cycle. Also try imitrex...works wonders for me.

Oh yes!!! I've been getting them since 3rd grade. They are horrible. I used to take Excedrine Migrane but it doesnt work anymore. I'm on perscription pills now but def a dark room, cold compress on the area that hurts really helps and CAFFEINE!!!! I have to drink some kind of caffeine to help my head.

I get them all the time! I take Excedrin Extra Strength every single day, and when I can't prevent one, I take Imitrex. It is a life saver, and I would pay $100/pill.

i've heard great things about imitrex...i'm on zomig now and i've been on it for years. i'm getting too used to it. it takes 45 minutes t kick in when i have a migraine, i have to talk to my dr about switching medicine

OMG I have been getting horrible migraines since i was a kid! I feel your pain. I get them to the point where I cant see and lip also goes numb like someone else said... The cool dark room mixed with the excedrine migraine works wonders... I have also found that Lavender oil helps as well. I put it on my pillow in the room im laying in, or if I am stuck at work I take the excedrine and put a little dab on either temple and it really helps! It helps calm you down (also great for people that have trouble sleeping through the night btw!!!)

I just recently found out that bananas can cause migraines! I was eating bananas a lot in the morning and I had 3 migraines that week! Found out there is something in the peel that constricts the blood vessels and cause the migraine, I read that if you scrape the side of the banana to make sure there is no peel left on it (those stringy things) that it will be find, but I dont want to take the chance. Just thought I would let you know incase you eat a lot of bananas. Hope you feel better!!
