So a couple of weeks ago i bought a magic bullet and I was in love. It cut my dinner prep time in half and did so much more!! Well this weekend, after only two weeks of use it died It just stopped chopping things.
I remembered a post a couple of weeks ago about the cuisinart mini prep and decided to return the dead bullet and try out this machine. I used it tonight for the first time tonight and it was even better than the bullet!!!
I can't remember who posted about the mini prep, but thank you!!! it is a great purchase!
It was so great while it worked and I thought about just getting a new one, but when i did a search on google for it and reviews I found a lot of people saying theirs died also.
I hope you are one of the lucky ones!!! ITt is great while it works!

It IS the greatest thing, right? I use it ALL the time!
I use a ton of garlic and HATE to mince it because it takes forever and my hands hurt sooo much afterward!
You have to make salad dressing in it... it's awesome!

I am with you on the garlic! I use it almost everynight which was the main reason i wanted a chopper!
I will def. try salad dressing.
have you used it at all for anything like smoothies or sorbet. I used to make those a lot in the magic bullet and was hoping it would work in this as well.

OH NO!!! My friend John just bought the Magic Bullet after going back and fourth for a while over whether or not to buy it!!! I feel so bad for him! I hope his doesn't die-- he was so excited, he'll be crushed!!! I will send him this and tell him to keep his receipt and then he can get the Mini Prep instead if it does die!

It is the same basic concept, but I just really like the Cuisenart better. I don't know why, but I had a Kitchen Aid for a few weeks before I went back to my Cuisenart!
