NWR: Music Help!!

Im creating a DVD slideshow for my husband's 30th birthday. It follows him from birth to now. It is approximately 14 minutes now, but its going to be a couple minutes longer b/c I'm 'interviewing' his immediate family as well.

I need a few songs that can follow him over the years. I think I'm going to start with Baby Mine by Bette Midler but after that I'm stumped. DH is all about rock. If you ladies have any ideas I'm all ears!

What about GNR's Sweet Child of Mine?

You could do something silly like Blink 182's 'What's my age again' maybe?

Jack & Diane by John Mellancamp?

All Summer Long by Kid Rock? (Maybe for camp pictures or something?)

I'm not really good at choosing soundtracks, sorry. Just trying to help.

I have a great Tennessee Williams quote, though, that could be fitting. I used it in my H.S. yearbook: 'In memory, everything seems to happen to music.'
