NWR - my grandma

My grandma has been having stomach problems recently and swears it's colon cancer (based on research she's been doing on the web). She's a survivor of some pretty advanced breast cancer so I wouldn't be surprised if she's battling some sort of cancer now, but internet research is a pretty weak indicator of whether or not you have a disease. They are running tests now, but in the meantime she's been telling my mother where all of her paperwork and money is in case anything should happen to her. Ever since my grandpa died in October she's been taking steps to 'prepare' herself and the family for her death and, emotionally, it's killing me. I don't know how I will live without her. I hate that she's alone all the time, I hate that I live in Philadelphia now, over 100 miles away, and I hate that I can't be there for her. We don't have a big family but she's always been our rock and just thinking about my living life without her is killing me.

I honestly believe it is uneccesry to upset yourself with thinking about these awful endings. Sometimes its just best to think of the positives!!!!
