just an hour ago I was sitting in my car fighting back the tears b/c I am that miserable at my job-
when I got back to my desk- 5 minutes later my cell phone rings- it's a call about a job- one that I just sent my resume for
the HR department wants to show my resume to a few people and get back to me by the end of the week to set something up
that was quick and I feel so much better already- just the hope is driving me
update- I have a phone interview on Friday at 11am- that was quick!

That's so great! I remember when I was at a job I hated and I would cry too, especially on Sundays when the weekemd was over. I know what you're going through. Something much better will come along!

congrats beth - that's great! I definitely know what it's like to be unhappy in a job. No matter how hard you try, it is impossible to not let it affect your life when you are that miserable for the majority of the day 5 days a week.

I hear you. I am just as miserable. Isn't it the best when you get a call-back. I always get excited when that cell phone goes off at work. Then of course I have to run outside in the cold to call back becuase I don't have an office.
