NWR-My mom just

got back from the doctor for having chest pains and they told her that she had a heart attack and didnt even know it! They arent sure when it happened but she's pretty sure it was a few days ago when she was standing on line in CVS getting a prescription filled for my sister. She actually called me because she needed someone to talk to because she was feeling so ill. Now she's going into the hospital for further testing tonight for the next 3 days. I really dont know what to make of it. My mom lives in Fla. so I cant even go there will she's in the hospital to see for sure what's happening.

Thanks!! I feel like you guys are the only ones I can vent to. FH isnt much of a help at all. I get I dont know what to tell you.

OMG!! I hope she is okay. Please keep us updated and if you need anything please let us know. I would call her doctor and get the answers from him/her. However your mom needs to tell her Doctor it is ok for her/him to share her medical info with you b/c of all the patient privacy acts and stuff. Try to keep smiling!!

Oh no -- I hope she feels better soon. I know it must be hard being so far away. My mom is in South Carolina....I don't know what I would do if anything like that ever happened. Keep us updated!

So sorry to hear about your Mom...that's pretty scary that she had the heart attack and didn't even know it. I'm sure she will be in the best of care and they will find out what caused it to happen and all will be well. Just take it easy and try to hang in there. I can imagine, it must be hard that she's farther away. Ughh...well any time you need to vent, you know we are all here for you. My thoughts and prayers are with you all!! and for you!!

I'm so sorry for you. My mom had chest pains a couple of months ago that lasted for 5 days until she finally went to the hospital. It was nothing really, but just scary to think that something could happen to my mom. to you and your mom.
