I went to log onto myspace and it said someone hacked on my account and I had to change my password. I changed it, has that happened to anyone? I am so worried now, could it be because I made a slide show with slide.com?

I just got hacked too. Did you copy and paste anything from a comment or someone else's page? That's how it happened to me.

Im not on MYSPACE because being a teacher it just isn't a great idea. But I have heard that this has happened to many people. I think I would change the password again...when I taught middle school last year it was amazing what my kids knew how to do in terms of messing up someones MYSPACE....

i'm also a teacher (well, a student teacher), but my profile is private, and i used fake names to make the site, so it's pretty much impossible to find me unless you know the fake names lol.
i like the site because i have re-connected with so many people (i looked for them, obviously, since they couldnt find me)... its just a quick and easy way to stay in touch with people.
but all of the student teachers got a letter from our college saying that we should delete myspace. i dunno... we shall see.

Yep it happened to me...apparently I posted a bunch of bulletins that 'my friend Paco gave me 200 free condoms!'-please. these idiots need to get a life!
Change the password. Another thing, dont hit enter when you log on. Click on it with the mouse. They do whats called keystroke logging. they can pick up every key you type in on the computer.

I learned all this stuff in college...but alas I dont remember. I know a phreaker is someone who hacks into network phones...(no help I know!)

yeah that happened to me a few times...it suckss luckily i have a very hard PW now....so its harder to hack i am gona go try...just to see if it happened to me too

Yes, thats happened alot to me and thats why i got rid of it. I think it may have been some of the 8th graders in the school i teach in... but who knows... Be super careful. I had a slideshow too

No dont worry it has nothing to do with the slide.... it happens sometimes from clicking on those surveys or sometimes those comments about the macy cards and what not... as long as you changed your pass word... you'll be fine
