NWR: Nail assistance needed...

NWR: Nail assistance needed...

I had gel manicures done prior to and for the wedding. The gel did not hold up well in the saltwater in Mexico and they all came off. My nails are so, so weak right now. They're growing out but what is a good nail hardner/manicure cream/polish/something to use in the meantime?!

HELP! TIA!

Well, the first time I got it it was literally gel put on the top of my nails. It looked okay, it was a bit thick. They popped off in less than a week. I went to a different place to correct the damage done and they did what seemed to be silk wraps every single time I asked for a gel manicure....but charged me gel prices. They would put silk on, nail glue and powder on my own nails...no tips. They held up for a week, maybe a week and a half at most but they looked nice.

I am a nail tec, i would try to get a few natural manicures and sally hanson nail strengtheners are great. They are the same company as Elizabeth Arden. Keeping top coat makes a difference and try keeping them short until they get strong again. It could take 2 months or so before they get back to normal.

Rejuvacote is the best. I had wraps for years and took them off a few months ago. My nails are so strong now since I started using it. Nailtique burned my nail beds. Be careful.

i second this! I have had acrylic/gel/silk wraps... (you name it, i've had it) for at least the past 3 years. my natural nails were destroyed! I took off the fake cra p 3 months ago and my real nails look great now. Nail Envy is the only one that worked for me!
