NWR: need a car

Hey ladies!

I know this has nothing to do with a wedding but I need some help finding a car. I was in an accident and my car is totaled. :( Anyways, I need to get a new (used) car. I'm looking at hondas and toyotas. What do you think would be my best option?? Thanks for your advice!!!

Take a look at Kia. They are great and priced more competitvely than Honda and Toyota you can't argue with a 5 year 100,000 mile warranty and a 5 star crash rating. I bought my spectra in '08 and so far all I have had to do is change the oil a few times. I drive over 50 miles a day.

I love my Honda!
Whatever car you get, if its used, get a Certified car.

I vote for the honda too. I have a 2005 civic and it's been very good. FH has a toyota and he's had problems with it ever since he bought it (he bought it brand new).

My FH is selling his Nissan Maxima. I believe it's a 2005. What are you looking to spend? FM me if you're interested and I can get you the details.

I drive a Honda. I love it - I have never had a problem or issue on the road (other than a flat tire).

I also used to own a 2005 Toyota Corolla and compared to Honda, I think the Honda edges out Toyota slightly (JMO). You cant go wrong w either choice!

Honda definitely... and if your looking to get a new car maybe you could inquire about a 2009 honda civic brand new I'm sure they would give a really great deal being the new model is out.

What about a Scion? it is made by toyota and very affordable. I have the tC and love it haven't had any problems! We also just got a certified pre-owned Acura (same maker as honda but more luxury) and love it so far!!!

Honda....best car ever...totally reliable, reasonably priced and they retain their value.

Even if you are looking to buy one used..you really cant go wrong.

I have a Nissan, FH a Honda, and there is a significant difference. Honda just feels like a better made car when you drive it.

Westbury Toyota (next door to Century 21) seems to have some great deals. I shopped around alot for a car, and actually ended up getting a VW Jetta there, almost brand new, for a great price!
