HI Ladies- I recently moved to Centerport and am looking for a great colorist in the Huntington/Northport area. I have black hair and I need someone who can lighten my hair without turning it red. I love my current colorist but I travel over an hour to her salon on the south shore in Nassau. Any recommendation is greatly appreciated

I hear that Renee at Shears of Elegance on Larkfield Road in East Northport is very good. My mother uses her and loves her work.

My colorist is Michelle at Meridien Salon in Commack on Jericho Tpke. She works wonders. I love her!!!

my mother goes to meridian too- we know the owner- i use Jack for my haircuts- I dont know who my mom uses but she loves it there!

i go to dakota's on jericho t. (christine does my color, and stacy does my hair.) they are pretty expensive but very good.
