i dont use a recipe i do it by eye

equal parts of italian breadcrumbs and pecorino romano cheese. Olive oil. garlic. mushroom stems chopped

use enough olive oil to make the mixture moist. I use about 6 cloves of garlic(per three containers of mushrooms which yields about 20 mushrooms)

mix all the ingredients together and stuff the mushrooms enough to make a small mound on the top. I use aluminum pans to bake them. drizzle the pans with olive oil. put the mushrooms in and top each mushroom with a slice of butter. Bake them until tender and golden brown at 400 degrees.

Simple but good recipe

clean mushrooms, remove stems & chop up stems
Combine breadcrumbs, chopped steams, grated cheese, minced garlic, and a little pepper. Add some oil to make it clumpy. Stuff mushrooms, drizzle a little oil over it. Cover & bake on 350 for 30 or so minutes, remove cover for about 15.

This sounds like mine, but I add sausage to the mix and it makes about 40 mushrooms. My DH requested that I make them to bring up to his dad's house on Friday for Thanksgiving take 2!

Similar to my family's recipe, but we put a little water in the pan so the mushrooms don't dry out

Did you want cheese stuffed mushrooms or breadcrumb stuffed mushrooms or sausage and hot pepper stuffed mushrooms?

I think the traditional breadcrumb recipe is a little bland and boring. My favorite is the cheese one. It's super easy (wispride spreadable cheddar cheese, white wine, lemon juice, and breadcrumbs). Let me know which recipe if any you want and I will glady get it out of my recipe book for you.
