tonight for FH's birthday. Nothing TOO fancy, but nothing like Applebee's. In Suffolk near Hauppauge....anyone have any suggestions?

I agree with Sweetwaters!! Delicious, and I agree about making a reservation, and about getting the fondue. The cheese fondue is delicious also, and the chocloate fondue is sooo good!

Sweetwaters is awesome. There is also Gasho J(sp?) on Motor Parkway right near Bertucci's that is also real good.

Pomodorino's on Motor Pkwy is also very good!! And you don't need reservations for that, they'll prob be busy but I've never had to wait more than a few minutes for a table.

If you're driving east on the LIE get off at Exit 56 (Rt. 111), they'll be a Mobil station on your right. Make the left and go under the overpass. You'll pass an Exxon station and a Quiznos on your left and then Sweetwaters is about a block up. HTH!!
