Need to get a gift for FMIL for about $50. Every idea I've come up with FSIL's have already gotten and FH isn't much help. What do you buy for a 70 year old woman that doesn't really need anything. I really don't want to get a gift card- feels like I would be taking the easy way out. Thanks!

my FMIL is 78 yrs old so I can totally relate! I just bought her a necklace with a butterfly pendant (found it at a Sheckys event but similar ones can be found at those jewelry kiosks at the mall), and a sweater.

I got FMIL a coach purse last year from the outlet and this year the matching wallet. Go to the outlets. Every woman needs a purse and you can get her just a plain leather one that's not too trendy, but good quality.
