NWR; Need gift ideas

Any gift ideas for a christening. FH is the godfather. I know jewelry is typical; anything else?

Rosary, savings bond, pay for a photo shoot of the baby (I did this as a present for my MOH when she had her daughter - we did a newborn shoot and she said it was the best present she ever got), a piece of jewelry and a special book or Bible, or a nice engraved music box.

I bought my niece a cross and her godfather bought her medals. The medals are nice.

A crucifix and chain I think is a great idea for both a boy and a girl.

Tradition is for the godparents to buy the cross and chain, thats what i'm doing.

I was going to buy my godson this but his godfather got it for him grr! lol So I got him a bracelet with his name and engraved on the back was the date of his christening.

Thanks for all the ideas. We ended up doing the cross and chain. I want to look into maybe a personalized photo album. Love the photo shoot idea!

A Cross is typical of the Godfather...

Something else...maybe a photo shoot somewhere of the baby in the christening outfit, photo frame (NICE ONE)...maybe a Bible ????

I personally LOVE Precious Moments figurines...they have ALOT of cute ones for Communion and I am SURE they have for Christening...
