NWR need good skin

So I always have breakout on my back and Im trying to take care of it so by the time i get married it looks good. I bought neautrogena body wash, and since ive been using it i feel like its making it worse. Does any one know anything i can use with out going t othe dermotologist and spending a lot of money???

Cetaphil cleansers are good, I use the gentle cleanser on my face. They do have one for oily skin and one for breakouts (I think). I go to a dermatologist so she recommended the gentle cleasner because I use medicine that dries out my skin and is a little harsh. She said you don't want to overdo it.
There are also cleansers with salicylic acid, which they also recommended. I've used so many products over the years and I really feel that the prescription creams work best for me. I don't know how bad your skin is, so over-the-counter might work for you.

I can't use neutrogena either -- neutrogena uses salcylic acid, which works for lots of people, but I get rashes instead. Try gentler brands, like clinique. I also like St. Ives and Bliss.

My MOH has been using ProActive and her skin looks about 10times better after a week!

But can you use proactive on areas other than your face? Like her back or arms or chest. I get some on my shoulders too. Just wondering?

I suggest using any Clinique products. I have very prone to breakouts skin and since using any Clinique products, my skin has been pretty good!

I know what you mean, I used neutrogena and it completely dried out my skin for like a week! But my sister used to get breakouts on her back and she went to the dermatologist and he prescribed her a cream and it made her back so much better that she doesn't get any breakouts anymore.

Cetaphil or Phisoderm. Clinque is good as well. Proactive is the best for people with breakouts.

yes my sister used it for her arms and back and it worked wonders !!!

I have very acne prone skin and have tried everything!! Watch out for proactive, I wouldnt use it unless your breakouts are severe. Mine were not and it made me breakout more. I use more gentler brands that are organic. I used Boscia which was great (they have an acne kit that is good and cheap) and now Im using Ole Henriksen (orange cleasner and tonic and sheer transformation creme oil free). You can get both at Sephora and they are cheap. Plus at Sephora they will give you big samples that you can try for free to see if you like them and if they are working. Also, I would recommend a treatment for all over even when you are not breakingout to keep breakouts at bay. I use the natural ones since I use it everyday - like Bosica breakout treatment but I know that Murad and Peter Thomas Roth have special ones for back breakouts.

I JUST saw the commercial for ProActiv, oddly enoiugh, and yes, you can, they showed before and after back pics.

I used to use proactive for years now, but I wanted to try something diff bc my skin if sooooo oily. A co worker gave me some samples from Cactus salon called Dermalogica. IT's the one for acne prone skin. My skin looks so much better without all the grease. I feel lin love with it. They might have a body wash if you check. They sell it at Ulta. You can check the website too, dermalogica.com. HTH!!!
