I'm not a teacher, but a standard resignation letter would probably include something like:
I regretfully inform you... or Unfortunately, I must submit my resignation......
some sort of Thank you .......I've enjoyed my time here....... say you appreciate any help you've been given..........and would like to maintain a relationship so that if any openings arise in the future, you would be considered (if that's true)

Do a search on yahoo for resignation letters. That's where I copied mine from when I resigned from my previous job.

write something like:
to whom it may concern:
As of ::Date:: I will be resigning my position as a TA at ::name of school:: I would like to thank you for this opportunity is was extremely rewarding and has given me great experience that i will take with me as I enter my teaching career....
add whatever else...but i would keep it short and sweet!
