NWR: need help with recipe
My mom wants to make instant pudding but really really thick so you can cut it....anyone know what to add to do this?

I'm thinking double the powder mix (but not the wet ingredients), and add cornstarch if you have to. cornstarch thickens gravies without lumps.

see if there is a pudding pie recipe on there..thats usualy pretty thick
otherwise, use less milk. if its heat adn serve then cornstarch might work, but cornstarch needs to be cooked otherwise it tastes funny

Follow the pudding pie method on the box. I always use less milk plus it doesn't hurt to fold in half a (reg. size) tube of cool whip.
