NWR: Need Make-up Help...BAD!!

Okay, so my E-Party is next weekend and I am doing my own make-up. Which is fine for this, but not the wedding. But I have a question about eye shadow (I don’t wear make-up on a daily basis). HOW do you keep the shadow from getting/falling on the under the eye area when applying?!?!?! I tested out a couple eye shadow colors at home last night, and when I looked in the mirror, I saw some had fallen to under my eye and in the corner of my eye. So I take a cotton ball to swipe it off, doesn’t work. Then I try applying concealer, which made it worse! The concealer made it too light!

HELP!!! PLEASE!!!! TIA!!

I'm not entirely sure of what you are talking about with the falling, but I first finish my face makeup and apply powder--this makes it easier to just brush off eye shadow or mascara if any goes beneath. Then you might want to put a tiny bit of moisturizer on your lid to make the shadow stay, or try a liquid shadow. Apply shadow, then I do eye liner, then mascara. Good luck!

Thanks! I am going to check that out. I was thinking of going to get a 'free' make-up lesson at MAC this weekend or next week, so they can teach this old dog new tricks! I am make-up illiterate!!!

I am makeup challenged too!!

Clinique makes a product- I forget thename...it is a base for your eyelids, helps the shadow stay put. It is like a creamy light beige shadow almost...and really works.

Another great product is by Neutrogena- it ia a makeup remover STICK!! I love it- you just rub it on wherever you have a problem, and wipe off with a q-tip.

fm me if you have any questions
