ok guys.... So i need to think of like 15 activities for a class I am taking this summer. The activities need to be for 5 year olds and need to support physical, cognitive, and creative development.
Can you guys help me out? I need like one more and I am stuck. TIA

Re: NWR: Need my teacher friends!!
okay call me crazy, but duck duck goose will work. this is what i do...
i sit them in a circle, and i'm not included in the circle.
i say 'Mr. Duck. Would you please goose someone who is wearing a blue shirt today?'
that way the duck has to recognize colors, and the potential geese do too if they want to know who the goose is going to be.
i also hold up numbers and do simple addition with them... like
'Mr. Duck. Please goose someone who has an even number on their head'
it gets them thinking cognitively... physically they still have to run around the circle, and creatively, you can have them make the signs or whatevs. just a thought.

Re: NWR: Need my teacher friends!!
I used to teach pre-k before i moved to the older kids but maybe something with bean bags. There are a lot of things they can do with them to develop physical, cognitive skills etc... THey can do an activity where they have to put the red bean bag on their head, the green one under their foot, above their head etc.. so they learn position words, colors and its physical
