I don't think your being overly sensitive or a psycho, I think that the ex should be the one paying for the door

i think he should install the door & gave his aunt the bill. if his ex is paying his aunt to live there that makes his aunt the landlord & if she wants to charge her tenant for it thats her choice.

The Ex actually lives there for free. It's part of her salary. But I agree...either the aunt or the ex should foot the bill
