I need some music for my dance classes that has a VERY strong drum/base sound (either NO lyrics or subtle lyrics). Nothing 'pop' just some different music. Specific songs are a plus!!!! Tanks

I'm no help, but years ago when I thought I was cool, I had an album called Bass Invaders or Adventures in Bass that I used to play in my car....
Maybe you can go to a local record store and see if they have any bass albums? Or even a conglomerate record store - they might have em...

No, not modern...it's for tap I want just background music. It can be ANY type of music (slow, fast, upbeat, dramatic, etc.) it doesn't have to have any other instrument in it just drums or any thing hard hitting.

I think I had those CD's also My X hooked up my car and put in a sick system when I was like 16. I thought I was the $hit riding around with my 2 16's in my trunk nowhere to go but ride down DPA with my gf's blasting the radio

what about suzanne palmer's 'beat of the drum' its a house song though
otherwise i would maybe look at ethnic sounds, maybe brazilian other latin songs, even maybe more greek or arabic influences, or how about Alabina which is gypsy kings paired with a female singer

or african songs, many are alot of drums, there is a specific name for this type of music and i cant even remember right now
