I have long hair but it's thin, so my hair will get oily in 1 day, which makes me need to blowdry my hair everyday. Does anyone have the same problem? I heard of dry shampoos - do they really work? If you use them, what do you use?

I have the same issue but I haven't tried dry shampoo... I just dry my hair every day, my hair is straight anyway so it's not such a big deal for me, but sometimes my heair is greasy by 6pm if I get up early, it's horrible. SO bad in the summer!

same problem here. the dry shampoo is okay but i wouldn't substitute it for a shower. its good if you are going out at night and don't want to shower again. it takes the shine away. i use the bumble and bumble brand and then use a hairdryer and a round brush to just fluff it up.
also, try blowing your hair when its dry and using a round brush (or whatever brush you use). i find this is very helpful and redistributes the oil and looks much better. i'll do this at night if im meeting friends for dinner or something after work. its a quick pick-me up.
HTH. (also highlighting/dying hair does thicken it a tad, or at least makes it less likely to oil up... if you want to try that as an option).
