I'm so PO'd with FHs Brother and Sister, Yesterday was their Fathers Birthday. Not a card or a phone call to say Happy Birthday Dad, You know I would give anything to have my parents back!!!!! They just don't have a clue... The only time that they call is when they want something. I just wish that they would wake up and see what they have in front of them. It really hurts FH & I to see how they treat FFIL. It's like they just don't care....

Some people are just so mean. Your FFIL is lucky to have you two who treat him well and give him respect. Try not to let them get to you. It is their loss.

I know how you feel! FSIL is the same way with FMIL! She treats her like cra p! FH and I hate it, and have even tried talking to her to get her to be at least considerate! It is terrible especially when a person treats their own parents like strangers! Horrible, and for no good reason at all!

Thats stinks, but I so understand, I have a brother like that!!! If we don't call him and remind him, he would never think to cal anyone on their b-days!

Your FH's father is so lucky to have the two of you there for him.........atleast he knows there is love and compassion from the both of you...

Some people just don't realize how important that family is. I have a friend that treats his mom like that and it ticks me off. The important thing is the you & your FH were there for your FFIL.

sigh. on the emotional development tree, some branches reach for the sky and maturity, and others stay low to the ground and small......
they obviously are too immature, despite being full adults, to have one thought that isn't selfish or short-sighted.
Think of how miserable and hollow their lives likely are overall.... it's punishment enough

Im a strong believer of the saying 'You dont know what you have until you lose it..' unfortunately they will realize what they have in front of them when its too late..Im sorry that this has happened..I would be pissed off too

Thank You Ladies for letting me vent!!!! I needed to get it out of my system. It's nice to know there is a place to come to and share or vent.. I don't ventt much but it just started to get to me.
