nwr need to vent

so last nite I went to eat dinner over my FH dad and stepmoms and she asked me to set the table so I did and sat back down w my FH on the couch then his stepmom says that I set the table wrong and Its not the etiquette way and that I have to do it over again... and she was serious so in order to not start a fight I decided to do it without saying a word. Then she continues to say how shes gunna buy me an etiquette book for christmas even if I dont want it I need it. I cant believe that B**** ugh I def cant handle her if she keeps it up I'll flip out...

If she is such an etiquette expert she should know it is rude to make your guests do things. They are over to enjoy themselves. It is proper etiquette for you to offer, NOT for her to tell you what to do.

You are a good person for not flipping out.

everytime I go over there it is something she is such a nasty person I feel bad cuz we never go to see his dad bc we both cant stand his stepmom. I already have nightmares about the wedding w her. I made my FH have a talk w his dad about her telling him he has to control her or shes gettin kicked out.
