Re: NWR- need to vent..very loooong

I'm sorry you're sad I think that keeping those long standing dates is hard. Things come up, even things that you as a couple might want to attend. So I wouldn't be so upset about him missing one or two as long as the majority of Saturdays are date nights that are devoted to the two of you. But, I do think that since you were sick, he should have made the effort to come over with no complaints. He should not have wanted you to come out and drive to his house while you were sick. But that's just my opinion. Maybe you should just tell him this in person. I always find that its better when I tell my FH I'm upset in person. Then we just talk it out and its resolved much quicker than replying back and forth with email. Good luck

i have felt this way before... FH sometimes turns me down to do something, yet all of a sudden when his friends ask he is all up to doing it... it really hurts my feelings too... I think you definitely have a right to feeling sad and hurt and i tihnk it might be good to tell him how you feel... I wouldnt buy the excuse 'we have the rest of our lives together' that would piss me off royally... it is all the little moments that happen NOW that make up someones life... if you are always looking to the future, you wont experience much... does that make sense? Whenever FH hurts my feelings i try to tell him... sometimes he tries to dismiss them saying what im feeling is stupid... so i remind him that my feelings are not stupid and they are real... he has gotten a lot better with it... i dont think he does it on purpose... i tihnk his brain is just wired differently because he is male! As for you going there when you were feeling like crap... i just wouldnt have gone over to his house and then he would have heard about it... I hope this helps somewhat! please feel better!!! men are dumbos sometimes!!

I think you have a right to be upset. I do understand things come up and there is nothing you can do about that, but I think you should always come first. Spending time together is important especially when you have different schedules (I know how that is).
So I would be annoyed too.
I also think he should of came over your house especially knowing that you are sick.
That was not right. You should of stayed home and rested while he came over for a visit.
You should speak to him about your feelings. I understand you typing an email because you wanted to get your feelings out at that moment. But you have to communicate to him about how you feel.
I hope I didn't sound nasty I just think that you have a right to be upset with him. IMO

Hope you feel better.

Feeling sad is an emotion and we can't help but to feel a certain way. Being mad and acting on it is a different story. Youre simply sad b/c youre disappointed. The feeling will pass in time, so I wouldnt act much on it. Brush it off your shoulder...have a good day today!!! Being that it doesn't happen often is a good sign. Let it go.
Maybe next Saturday you guys can do something extra nice together!!! Something different!!!
Good luck sweetie!

i do think that you have somewhat of a good reason to be mad. i know that things happen and do come up unexpected but the thing with his cousin is a little wrong.
