NWR- need VFW-type place

Hey ladies.

I know you all can help me. Need a nice VFW-type place that we can rent to hold 100 people for dinner & dancing for my mother's 50th birthday party.

Any ideas?

We're looking for a Friday night, November 5th. We already have a caterer that we'd like to use, we just need to find the space.

hi - we are using the VFW in farmingdale. its only $17 a person and thats for a saturday night in July. Good luck!

I went to a christening at the VFW in Bellmore, it was so nice! I was so surprised at how nice it was. One thing I found out (from my cousin) was that each VFW is different. Some you have to use them as the caterers etc. So call around.

what we are paying is per person, just for the food. we are getting a discount b/c fh's grandpa is a member. but give a call and ask what it runs.

Not to sound dumb, but what is a VFW place. Not too sure if I heard of it.

We had our eparty at the Lindenhurst VFW(not sure where you're coming from). I really like it there alot, we got it catered, the room is a nice size, the bar is in a separate room and that's where you put the food too,so you have tons of room for tables and dancing. not dumb at all hon - vfw is veterans of foreign wars - it is kind of like a knights of columbus or elks lodge -

we used the VFW in sayville for our engagement party!

check it out; it comes with bartnenders!!

thanks for all your help ladies.
we decided to rent a tent with heaters for the back yard.. the tent will have sides and everything.
we just have to use our caterer- Buon appetito in Bellmore- they are the BEST- and they are so reasonable
