I am a 7th grade teacher and I am getting observed later on today. It's my WORSE class. They are off the wall (half special ed). I always get anxious about these things (even though I've been teaching 4 years), but this is the end of the day when they are usually worse.
So scared!

I'm sure it will be fine and whoever is observing has to have an idea of the make up of the class. Don't worry!! You'll do great.

good luck!!!! hopefully they will be better if there is another adult in there. make them think that the person is observing them, not you. they dont know the difference and they act better lol. thats what i do

that's too funny...my teachers always did that to my classes growing up.

hahah I do this every time too!!
However, the kids at this school DO NOT CARE!! They do not care if the principal is in there- no respect. I am counting the days until June when I leave this place!
Thanks girls. They were a little better than usual, but still not great. She said she feels for me. hahah at least she now sees what I have to put up with.
