Hi girls.. last week I had a really awful observation; my best class decided that was the day to be bad... anyway tomorrow I am having my post-observation meeting and I am really nervous. I am scared I won't have a job next year... does anyone know of anything else I can do? I don't like teaching much anyway.

Maybe it's the wedding jitters, but I just made a mistake at work after more than one year of a 'stellar' (not my word) performance. And, of course, my evaluation is due in two weeks!!! And this decides if I get a bonus (much needed $$, I might add) I feel like all my work prior is erased by this, but in reality, it's not.
Sometimes we judge ourselves far more harshly than anyone else ever could or would. I think people know that any one can have an off day ( or few weeks in my case!) I am sure you will come through just fine.
As for a career change...you can always come and work for the government! We're always looking for a few good people over qualified and underpaid!!!
