NWR: never a dull moment
I swear, it's never a dull moment when FMIL is involved.
She had surgery on her finger about a week ago, so FH & I have been helping out a lot more than usual...now, fast forward to this morning.
We are out, walking back from Dunkin Donuts, she tripped on the sidewalk, and went flying. As I pointed out to her, the trip and fall were very graceful, but she needs to work on her landing![]()
So after 4 hours in the ER, she's ok, but now, in addition to the bandaged finger, has 2 scrapped knees, scraped chin, lip, nose, forehead, cut lip, and a broken nose. What the hell is karma doing to this poor woman *shakes head*
Now apparently the story is that she didn't like the wedding dress I did, so I pushed her down on to the sidewalk...that's her story, and she's stickin' to it. At least we get along and can joke about things like that![]()
Can we just have one uneventful day around here please?!
