NWR: New apartment issues......LONG (sorry)

and we havent moved in yet! You ladies are really good with the advice so I want to know what you would do.

FI and I found an apt. that we loved and after spending 2 hours with the leasing agent we put down a deposit to hold the apt. A few days later we had some questions so I contacted the agent. No response. Waited a few days and contacted her again-still nothing. Finally heard back.
A month or so goes by and we get an email saying she is no longer with the company and another agent would be helping us. I set up an appointment to meet with the new agent and go over some paperwork. Needless to say I wait 1.5 hours past our appointment time for him (he is helping someone else) and finally leave!

I have since been trying to reschedule with him via email and phone. The response time/resident service has been waaay less than stellar. My question is should I throw in the towel and try to get my money back and look elsewhere or hope for the best and keep trying to pursue it? The only kicker is I have two large dogs and they dont have a weight requirement there!!!

HEEEEEELLLLPPPPP please!!!! Sorry so long-Im at my wits end

Yup, renting. They are new so we were able to pre-lease for the date that we needed it.

Speak to someone about this... there must be a manager or someone you can tell about your unpleasant experience. If you spent a lot of money, you should get something for it!

I would start to look around and see if you find anything else you like, if so, then try to get your money back. If not, you're just gonna have to suck it up with the new agent until you move in.
