NWR: new job

NWR: new job

I'm looking for an in the meantime job that will be as stress free as possible while I finish my masters in special ed. I'm a nanny right now and the mom isn't flexible. I don't want another job as a nanny because I don't want to get attached to any other families and have a hard time leaving again. I really would love a job that is like a 9-5 and doesn't require too much experience (since my experience is mostly with children)

Any ideas? I don't really know what to look up lol

I use to work for DDI (Developmental Disabilites Institue) they have lots of different positions and if you have children experience that's a plus and they were pretty flexible. I can give you someone to contact if you're interested...

If you're looking for an in-the-meantime job try a temp agency. I know there's on in Melville and one in Smithtown and they can find you office jobs you're qualified for. Sounds like you wanna downgrade on the crazy lol. I'm a nanny too! Nanny power! I'm lucky enough to have a very flexible family that I work for who are very laid back.

I was actually going to suggest the same thing. Greystone Staffing and Adecco are the two that my company usually hires temps from.

Temp agencies are great! You can also check out craigs list in your area to see if anyone near by you is hiring for anything- lots of full time secretary and clerical positions are usually posted on there that don't need much experience

I would suggest maybe AHRC or DDI. I would maybe also suggest Just Kids in Lindenhurst.

Have you thought about being a temp nanny so that you wont need to feel bad about leaving? I'm a nanny too. I found my gig through Absolute best care agency. They are great and don't charge a fee.

Nanny power! I wish they were laid back. They just never have a back up plan. They're even makings take their kids to court with me to fight a speeding ticket bc they have no other option. So over it!!'
