NWR - Nintendo DS

Anyone have it? I think I'm going to buy it for FH for his bday.

I'm thinking of the DSi b/c you can take pics with it.. it's slightly more $$ but i think its worth it.

I loooooooove it! I've had it for 3 years now and it's awesome. If he likes more of strategy and brain games, then he'll definitely love it. If he's more of a call of duty kind of guy, I'd recommend the PSP. If you do decide to go with the DS, I think it'd be worth it to get the DSi though, I'm thinking of upgrading, too!

I have the DS and I LOVEd it (at first I played non-stop, kinda slowed down A LOT)... I tried the DSi and honestly didn't like it much!

one warning- if he has any problems with strobe lights or motion sickness, i'd shy away from it. I started getting BAD dizzy spells and it took MONTHS to trace it back to my 'purchase' (it was a gift) of the ds. I stopped playing and my spells went away, started playing and they came back.
it depends on the types of games you play.
but again, that's JUST me... FH and Nephew play it and never had a problem.

as for the dsi- i think its a bit of a waste, if your FH has a digital camera or a cellphone, there's no reason to pay more money for the dsi.

I loooooove my DS!!! I get motion sick and I get headaches from bright/strobe lights and I've never had a problem with it
