nwr: NJ?

hi girls.... i have a weird ?..... but with all my family drama... im trying to figure out some options for my mom.....
anyone know of any good areas of New Jersey???? i want her to be far enough away from my dad, but not too far from us... any info is great.. thanks!

Bergen county is gorgeous......I work as a medic per diem in Ridgewood, NJ---covers Ridgewood (obviously), Mahwah, Upper Saddle River, Paramus, Hawthorne, Ho-ho-kus, and a whole bunch of towns in between.

If you need any info, just FM and I'll see what I can find for you.

Depends on what you are looking for and where you work etc.

I was born and raised in Passaic County (grew up in Wayne). There are a lot of nice areas in NJ.

depends on what area in Atlantic City.. Alot of ghetto areas there!

My Future In Laws live about 45 mins from Atlantic City in Haddonfield/Haddon Heights. It's near Cherry Hill and a few mins from Philly - probably a good area for jobs if she will be looking. It's very middle class - affordable but not ghetto.

AC is not close...how close do you want to be? How far is too far?

Old Tappan is beautiful and they have nice townhomes. It's about an hour from mid-Nassau

hello! this is my first post on here. i came across this site by 'accident' and have been lurking for awhile, but since i live in NJ in the area of some of the towns people mentioned, AND i went to school near AC ( stockton college, baby!!) i created an account because i felt like i had to reply
i live in lumberton, which is near westampton NJ...and about a half hour from cherry hill. like the other people said, its a really nice middle class area... there are plenty of nice townhomes to rent or buy, and a decent amount of jobs in the area. and its about 2 hours or so from LI, so its not totally far away from you.
now AC... there are some areas near there that that are ghetto... but my school was in gallaway ( about 30 mins from AC) and its nice there... a lot of new development going on and pretty low cost of living- if it wasn't for my fiances job in morris county, nj... we would have moved down there. hamilton township and mays landing ( where my uncle lives) are near AC and are also nice and not ghetto.
anyway... sorry this is so long... but i just thought i'd offer so real first hand info. good luck with everything!!
