I just had a no good, very bad day today. I unfortunately was involved in a accident that pretty much totaled my car. :( I'm still a nervous wreck but no one was involved and I am okay. I'm still scared to drive and I won't be going into school tomorrow, but I'm thankful to be scratch free.
....stupid guardrail....

I'm sorry that you are going through this!
I too was in an accident not to long ago, and believe me I was scared to start driving, but I forced myself the next day (my car was in the shop for 3 weeks and I had a rental). Thank goodness you are alright!

Other than a minor airbag burn, I'm physically ok. I stayed home from school today because I'm mentally not ready to drive (nor do I have a car). Thank you all for the support!! This was my first accident and luckily I have a great fiance who's doing everything to make me feel better.
I just hope I can get over this but its hard...any thought on how to move on??

Wow so glad you are okay - its only natual to be scared and shaken up for a few days.
I was in a three car pile up a couple years ago - i was a passenger in a middle car - luckily no one was hurt other then the cars. But I was pretty freaked out being in the car after that for a while.
Give yourself some time - and then you just gotta get right back into it. I would take a couple days - and then ease yourself back into the drivers seat again.
Really glad you are okay!!!

i am so sorry you went thru this! I went thru something similar, i was hit by a drunk driver and then he drove away...it was so frightenting! i honeslty could not get back into my car until it was fixed and i needed someone with me the first few times back out...i say just give yourself sometime! i needed about a week before my injuries were feeling better(and i am stilll recovering from them) and being ready...of course if you see yourself waiting a long time to get back into driving, i would just re-assess futher (you just dont want the fear to control you!). i will be honest though, i used to LOVE driving, now, not so much.

omg Im glad your ok! I was in a 4 car pile up about 10 months ago and Im still going to physical therapy and chiropractor. Its hard getting behind the wheel for me still at times. And I hate driving in traffic still (thats when it happened) Just take it real easy and relax and take driving one day at a time it took me a week before I drove again.
