So FH and I just got a friend request from a mutual old friend. We haven't spoken to this girl in years because of a fall out awhile ago. Every time we see this girl out she is rude and talks bad about us yet shes requesting us on FB. It also just happens to be that FH posted our engagement pics on there and can only been seen if you are a friend.
So my question is... has anyone noticed that since getting engaged or posting anything such as e-pics or e-party pics you received a bunch of requests from people that all of a sudden want to be your friend? FH and I have noticed it BIG TIME!

Ummm yes, big time. Since FH and I got engaged I think my friend request count went through the roof.
And just the opposite, my ex boyfriend defriended me the week I got engaged. Guess he unlike other people didn't want to hear about it.

Yes.. but both ways...
'Fakes' have started drama and other randoms have come out of the woodwork!
If this is any indication, your true friends usually show their colors when big life moments happen in your life.
