nwr: not jinxing i hope but...

fh & i might be in a house sooner than later! while we were in florida we bid on a house, responded to several counters, and then the sellers mysteriously had a convenient other bid (they'd been pulling out this mystery bid at all the most convenient spots since we started looking at it.) We finally gave our best offer and that was that....til now! Sellers claim 'something with the deal fell apart' and now we're going to let them wait a day or so before we come back with another bid. Doing the happy dance because this might be it! Laundry room on the 2nd floor, come to mama!

I'm hoping to have the same luck!!!
We had an accepted offer as of last Tuesday... we scheduled and HAD the INSPECTION COMPLETED!!!
We were all ready to go to contract on Friday, but didn't because the lawyer for the seller was out of the office. Monday morning while waiting to hear that my lawyer received the contract we were told that instead there was a higher offer accepted and we were out!!! ***!!! I laid out $$$ already and poof 'my house' is gone.
Well, as of this Tuesday my realtor informed me that the 'accepted offer' has not moved forward with an inspection yet, so I'm still possibly in the running.
My realtor suggested I offer a little more, my offer was our max but much lower then the accepted offer and asking price, but FH said NO!
So, like you, I wait... the best to both of us!!!

OMG! I would be with FH on this one....after going through all of that to be told there's a random offer in the mix? No way, man, seems like someone feels bad for accepting a low offer and is trying to squeeze you! I bet as soon as you let them know there's no budging you'll be back in business good luck, I hope it all works out
