NWR: Nutritionist??

I know some of you ladies have been to a nutritionist, I know some about healthcare and nutrition, even thought I am a food addict. I dont really need to lose weight, although I wouldnt mind loosing like 5 pounds or so and maintaining that... just wondering what does a nutritionist do? Have they helped?

A nutritionist helps you make the right food choices for you. Diets are general, but a nutitionist can cater it to your specific needs. For instance, if your blood sugar is a bit high, they can give you ideas for lowering it. If you want to get pregnant, or work on hormones, there are special foods for that.

I have been ill for quite some time and trying all sorts of stuff. The first thing that helped me was when I was sent to a nutritionist and she catered a diet for me. It began to regulate my hormones, which is what was needed.

I absolutely loved going to my nutritionist. She evaluated my diet and showed me what I was doing right with it and what was wrong. I absolutely HATE meals, I would only eat candy and snacks all day, but I started going to her and she helped show me how to regulate my blood sugar since it's usually extremely low. They are very indidualized which was nice. Mine also went food shopping with me for a few weeks while I was in college to show me different things and different products and everything. FM me if you have any questions!
