i know this is a long island site, but figure i can't be the only nyc girl on here... anyone else as excited as i am? now i can finally get some wedding planning done!!! :)

The only thing I'm annoyed about is being up at 5 from all my teacher friends texting me. LOL But I'll take it and just nap later.

enjoy your day, too! i suppose the fact that they hardly ever close schools makes me appreciate it that much more when they do!

I am so excited!!! I had to shovel out my backyard though so my dog would go outside. FH is at work in Queens at the firehouse. I'm happy I was able to shovel and relax instead of traveling to work in this mess.

not sure how long you've all been teaching, but i'm in my 8th year and by now i 've learned not to get my hopes up for snow days. so it was definitely a surprise when i heard the news! :)
