NWR: NYC Steakhouse recs - another question

Any recs for a good steakhouse in NYC - besides Peter Luger's and Morton's?

You should try the following
Quality Meats (a new hip steak restaurant that is OWNED by Smith and Wollensky)

Strip House in the East Village. Excellent as well AND not your typical stodgy steakhouse

Del Frisco's is delicious and very traditional type steakhouse

ooh del frisco's is great

there's also delmonico's which is downtown

and Bobby Van's one in midtown and downtown

Will Del Frisco's be good for that? Are they consistently good?

DelFrisco's is PERFECT for Client dinner.
I live in NYC and take clients out all the time. It's a perfect place.

I'm so sorry girls - our client is treating us - do you guys know approx cost of entree?

I don't want something ridiculously expensive since we're recommending the place (she's from OOT) so I don't want to hit her with a $1000 dinner bill (there will be 5 of us).

I'm so sorry girls, I'm nervous b/c I don't want her to think we're milking it.

it's my LIFE saver esp. when it comes to client lunches/dinners. It should show the entire menu with prices etc.

Let me know if that is too $$$$ for you and then I can brainstorm other great steak restaurants that aren't that expensive! Literally, people @ work call me the 'concierge'

FH worked at Porterhouse NY. Its one of the new steak houses in the Time Warner Building in Columbus Circle. It has a very known chef there. FH says its really good

No walk down stairs though?
