NWR: OCD issues...

ok... i have to have all my DVDs in alphabetical order. but i have an opinion question... it's 2-fold.

movies that are just numbers such ***... 300, 61*, 54, 10 things i hate about you....

these movies... would you put them in order with the first letter of the number? like would you put 54 in with the 'F's ??? or would you put them before the 'A's??? i have them before the 'A's, but here's my dilemma...

im gonna give you my DVDs as examples...

10 things i hate about you
40 year old virgin
40 days 40 nights
300
54
61*
8 mile

ok... so would you put 300 in between 10 things... and 40 days...

or

would you put it at the END because 300 is greater then 54, 61... etc???

im weird..
i know...
i live with it...
jackie deals with me...
she has a free ticket into heaven for it

I would think that you would put it at the end of the numerical movies as 300 is great than 54,61, etc. I think thats how Blockbuster does it....?

I put number movies before the A's. But then I put them in alphabetical order from there.

So.....

I would put 300 in between 10 things... and 40 days... but they'd all be before A Bronx Tale.

a movie like ... THE empire strikes back... goes under E. lol

all my dvds r are in alphabetical order as well. the number onces go before A in number order.
so it would be:
8 mile
10 things
40 year old virgin
54
300

since we also have blu-rays those go on a different shelf in their own alphabetical order not mixed with the dvds

I know that's what's done in Blockbuster and the libraries, but not in my home.

When i'm looking for A Bronx Tale, I'm not looking for 'Bronx Tale.' I'm looking for 'A Bronx Tale.'

When I go grocery shopping I have to put eveything away in size order with the label facing out

I have candles on my mantel...they are all exactly four inches apart

I would do it before A's and i would also try the smallest number goes 1st then to the greater numbers.
So you dont have these seperated by genre??
That would be fun too!!

I used to do that. They used to be in order by genre and then alphabetized within. But as our collection grew, it got too insane.

oh little side note the only thing I am weird with (oh wait didnt't mean you are weird lol) is the closet doors have to be shut at all times!! I can't live with them just being open.
Ya know one time I stoped in a heat of the moment action just to shut the closet door!!

I would put them in numerical order before the alphabet.

yeaa I know what you mean. FH is obsessed with collecting DVD's but complains that there is never good movies on..ok so watch a DVD nope never haha weirdo.
So the point of that was I know what you mean with it getting out of hand!
